Where People and Opportunities Meet
Since 1969, our purpose at Volunteer Connection has been
to match volunteers with meaningful volunteer opportunities and help organizations
engage volunteers.
Every year, we connect thousands of volunteers with local
volunteer-based organizations through our online
database of volunteer opportunities, newspaper columns, monthly
e-bulletin, special events, community
outreach efforts and one-on-one referral sessions.
We're assisting over 350 volunteer-based agencies in Boulder
County. Many nonprofit and service organizations rely on volunteers to meet
their missions, yet lack the resources to effectively recruit, manage and
retain volunteers. We offer frequent workshops
related to volunteer management, promote our partner agencies' volunteer opportunties
and celebrate the accomplishments of their outstanding volunteers in local
newspaper profiles.
