Personalized Matches

The heart of Volunteer Connection is our mission to match volunteers with the right volunteer opportunity. We continuously maintain a database of volunteer positions with over 450 agencies throughout Boulder County. We offer referral counseling services, free of charge, to help assess your personal interests and skills and find the right match.


Group Program Consultation and Coordination

Volunteer Connection offers a wide range of consulting services to help manage your volunteer program. Whether you are a business, faith group, school or service organization, we'll help to design and administer a customized full scale volunteer program, including:

- Organizing group projects for team building

- Individual consultation for employees and family members to volunteer

- Special programs, such as a Back to School Drive or a Blood Drive

- Support - such as kick-off events, Volunteer Bulletins, Web sites, and steering team   meetings

Youth Clubs and School Programs

Volunteer Connection is a great resource for school counselors, teachers and club leaders to identify programs appropriate to specific age groups, whether at the elementary, middle or high school level. We customize projects for youth clubs and school programs that:

- Meet community service requirements

- Fulfill Honor Society requirements

- Provide learning opportunities about unique careers and on-the-job experience

- Provide in-classroom projects for special education classes


Faith-Based Organizations and Service Clubs

We offer assistance to help identify a service project specific to your interests and values, and we can help you establish a collaborative work project with like-minded organizations. Projects may be developed on a short or long term basis, and support a wide variety of skill levels and interests.

We also provide weekly volunteer opportunities lists for publishing in your bulletins and newsletters. We assist you with learning the basic tools needed to develop
partnerships with nonprofit organizations.


Corporate Interest Projects

From helping corporations identify cause-related opportunities and community service projects consistent with their brand image to developing and managing a full scale volunteer program, Volunteer Connection can customize a program for your company that can:

Agency Consultation

Volunteer managers are vital to the success of nonprofit agencies and organizations. We offer networking opportunities and training for volunteer managers, including workshops, conferences and networking events, as well as consultations to help:

- Develop a volunteer corps

- Recruit the right volunteers

- Manage your volunteer programs

- Build volunteer relations

- Develop a risk management plan

Fee for Service

Introductory consultations for both groups and individuals are offered on a complimentary basis. For ongoing group-program development, a project fee will be negotiated. For group-program management with a volunteer supervisor or coordinator, a contract may be required.

Fees for networking events are nominal, covering food and beverage. Educational workshops generally run between $25-$35 for two or three hour sessions.
