Diane Arnett
with RSVP of Boulder County
by Jody Sandel

Recently recognized by RSVP of Boulder County as the New Frontier Bank Volunteer of the Month, Diane Arnett just celebrated her 5th Anniversary with Hospice Care of Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Arnett uses her skills as a massage therapist to help hospice clients and their families find peace and comfort. Employed at Longmont United Hospital's Health Center of Integrated Therapies, Arnett gives massages to hospital employees, the community, new mothers at the Birthplace and more recently cancer patients who are undergoing radiation treatment.

Arnett has come to recognize that her time and the gift of touch provide clients with comfort and peace, allowing them to make a difficult transition. "It warms my heart to be able to help other people in their time of need," says Diane. Not only does she help hospice clients, she provides massages for their family members as well.

In addition to her work with Hospice, Arnett is a quilter and sews charity quilts through the Longmont Quilters Guild for the Police Department and Project Linus.
