Since 2002, Geri Schrader has volunteered for Voices For Children CASA serving as a Board Member, Treasurer and occasionally Secretary. As the Development Chair, she nurtures other committee's development.

Schrader is involved with several volunteer committees in charge of fundraisers like the Light of Hope breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on April 8th at the Radisson Conference Center in Longmont. In addition to a FREE breakfast, Voices For Children will offer a raffle for prizes and the Longmont Children's Chorale will perform.

Schrader volunteers for September's Light Of Hope luncheon in Boulder, assists at the Lafayette Peach Festival booth and the Longmont Holiday Home Tour. For several years, she has been in charge of CASA greeting card sales where annually, children create a new set of greeting cards.

Schrader says, "It is heartwarming to see positive people, humble, very giving and hugely inspirational. We all work together for a beautiful end result."
