Tim Seeber is a dedicated and hard working volunteer who
has donated much of his time to the Center For Resource Conservation over the
past ten years. Seeber enjoys helping customers, "because I can take some
of the pressure off the staff when they have a busy day." Seeber constantly
shifts and straightens out recycling piles requiring hard physical labor.
"I chose to work at Resource because I like to see all the neat building
materials that come through the recycling plant" said Seeber. "I also
really like the people I work with. They are a fun group." Seeber also volunteers
at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and he enjoys the people he works with
there too. Seeber finds volunteering to be worthwhile and rewarding because, "It
is a chance to be in a different job format. It's a chance to be in a different
world."
"I'd like to spend more time as a volunteer; there is not enough time but so many opportunities to volunteer." Seeber said. He feels that the time one puts into volunteering is so rewarding and every minute you put in is worth the effort. Seeber said people in the community need to, "Just go out there and try it. Try volunteering and see how it makes you feel. You are giving something back and are getting positive reinforcement; it really makes you feel good."
